Okyeame Kwame took a step back in time to the 70′s with his latest video for the new single “faithful”, which is a mellower sound for him, floating by on its nearly ethereal backing saxophone and drums.
It is written by Okyeame Kwame and Bertha, winner of Stars of the Future season 4( Ghana's version of pop idol). Faithful is the first single off Okyeame Kwame’s upcoming album rumoured to be titled “The Doctor and Nurses”. The video was shot by one of the best music video directors in the business Abraham Ohene-Djan of OM studios.
Watch out for the cameo by Ace Ghanaian producer Appietus, he obviously produced this track and makes a cameo as a the painist . Its a love song! Okyeame Kwame and Bertha could have faked a little bit of chemistry.
It was refreshing and very different from the booty shaking obsessed music videos that have conquered our airwaves, hopefully the point has been made that a good music video can be made without bootyshaking.
